The commission has said ‘Spectre’ is a movie not recommended for children under 12 years. Compared to Hollywood, the film standards in India are very strict. Censorship often forces the filmmakers to cut scenes and some may even be prohibited altogether.

India cuts kissing scenes in the James Bond movie ‘Spectre’

The Central Board of Film Certification has ordered to cut four scenes from the latest installment of the saga of secret agent James Bond, including at least two long kisses between the two protagonists, Daniel Craig and Monica Bellucci.

The commission has said ‘Spectre’ is a movie not recommended for children under 12 years. Compared to Hollywood, the film standards in India are very strict. Censorship often forces the filmmakers to cut scenes and some may even be prohibited altogether.
