Killed 13 soldiers and 9 Al Qaeda terrorists in an attack in Yemen

The bomber detonated the vehicle near a seat of the Yemeni Army, killing four soldiers. After the attack, heavy fighting erupted between militants and government troops, in which nine soldiers killed eight terrorists. Officials estimate there were 70 attackers, so the army launched a search operation in the area to find the assailants who were not killed. In April, Al Qaeda took control of Al Mokala, provincial capital of Hadramut, taking advantage of the chaos in which Yemen is engulfed by the armed conflict between rebels and the Yemeni Houthi president.
