Wine prevents memory deterioration

Researchers conclude that resveratrol, a natural antioxidant present in red grapes, improve and reinforce the neural network, which would help to prevent future problems like progressive memory loss to Alzheimer’s. This finding was also supported by researchers at the University of Leeds in the UK, which show that this antioxidant alters beta-amyloid proteins and prevents its interaction with a particular brain cell protein called prion, which causes cell death and neurodegenerative diseases.
