World Economic Forum says there will be no equal pay between men and women until 2133
According to the Global Gender Gap report of WEF, progress in closing the gap has stalled in recent years, in fact a quarter of a billion women are in the same work situation as ten years ago. The report shows that although there are more women graduates than men, men are still occupying leadership positions. Iceland, Norway and Finland occupy the top three positions in terms of gender equality. Yemen was named the worst country, followed by Pakistan and Syria.
The World Economic Forum has said that within 118 years, until 2133, there will be no wage equality between men and women, claiming that women now earn what men did in 2006.
