Amazon removes Nazi-like ads from NYC subway
The ads promoted ‘The Man in the High Castle’, an original Amazon TV production that premiered on November 20. The company’s decision occurred a few hours after several authorities, including the New York governor himself, Andrew Cuomo, called for the withdrawal of what they consider «offensive» symbols.
Amazon was forced to withdraw a Nazi-inspired advertisement in the New York subway that promoted a new WWII series. Passenger complaints have forced the company to withdraw the campaign.
