Nine states refuse to receive Syrian refugees following the Paris attacks

Nine governors of the United States have announced that they refuse to take in Syrian refugees following the terrorist attacks in Paris. The governor of Alabama was the first to adopt the measure.

Afterwards, Michigan, Michigan, Arkansas, Louisiana, Indiana, Mississippi, Illinois and Massachusetts also stood by the decision, claiming their priority is “to protect our citizens.”
