27 U.S. states oppose to accept Syrian refugees

27 out of 50 U.S. states promise to shut their doors to Syrian refugees after speculations that one of the terrorists responsible for the Paris attacks had entered France soliciting asylum.

Although governors lack the legal capacity to block the federal government’s plan, they have made clear they can block it with budgetary cuts. Obama cautioned that they are “betraying” American values.
