Explosion at a bus stop kills 32 in Nigeria

At least 32 people have died and 80 have been wounded in a new Boko Haram attack. The explosion occurred at a bus stop in Yola, after three weeks of relative calm.

Most victims are vendors and pedestrians. The Nigerian army announced having dismantled several suicide attacks, as well as having killed and detained several extremists during the destruction of Boko Haram campsites in air and land strikes. “Humanity’s enemies will never win. We will free our land from terrorism,” stated the Nigerian President, Muhamadu Buhari. The military has distributed photos of Boko Haram terrorists that are being hunted down.
