Five Tanzanian miners rescued alive after 41 days underground

Tanzania’s Ministry of Energy and Minerals’ spokesperson, Badra Masoud said the miners “lacked fresh air, food and water; they had to eat wood and frogs, and drank dirty water that came out from the mine. Towards the end they even drank their urine because the water wasn’t sufficient.”
