Lightning kills a football player and injures 8 during a match

Bolivian footballer David Alvarez has died struck by lightning during a game between local teams in Bolivia. Eight players were also injured.

The severity of the injuries suffered by the other eight players from the electric discharge is still unknown. According to the prosecutor, Antonio Leniz, the incident occurred last Saturday «during soccer match between two teams from the town of Villazon, near the border with Argentina.»
