Greece meets first reform package and receives two billion
«On the basis of a notification of final fulfillment it was agreed that Greek authorities completed the first set of objectives and measures in the financial sector essential to a successful recapitalization process,» said the head of the Finance Ministers of the Euro zone, Jeroen Dijsselbloem. Athens will receive a total ten billion euros in the third rescue, money that will be used to stock the Greek banking sector.
Greece has made all the reforms envisaged in a first package of measures agreed with creditors of the Euro zone. Therefore, the ESM approved the payment of two billion Euros linked to the first set of targets.
