15 Islamists arrested for throwing 12 Christian immigrants overboard

Italian police have arrested 15 Islamists suspected of throwing 12 Christian immigrants overboard during a ‘treacherous’ journey from Libya to Italy. 105 immigrants traveled on the rubber boat.

Italian police in Palermo said that other Christians of the ship were saved because they formed a human chain to resist the aggressors. An Italian navy vessel intercepted the rubber boat and arrested the gangsters when the ship docked at Palermo. The people thrown overboard were from Nigeria and Ghana, while the perpetrators were from the Ivory Coast and Senegal.
