Italy increases security in Rome and Milan after Paris attacks
After the attacks in Paris last November 13, the streets of the Italian cities of Rome and Milan are guarded by police and military forces in case of any possible attack. The country has elevated which its alert level to 2.
The security deployment answers to the call of the U.S’s Office of Federal Investigations to increase security in touristic places like La Scala Theater, the St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, synagogues, restaurants, hotels and any other places that could serve well as targets for terrorists.
