Japan launches space rocket to improve Internet coverage
Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries are behind the launch of the telecommunications and broadcasting satellite, Telesat . The historic launch took place from the space center in Tanegashima Island in the Japanese prefecture of Kagoshima.
With the intention of expanding its coverage of broadband communications from South America to the Middle East, Japan has launched on Tuesday a H- IIA rocket, on its first exclusively commercial mission. The mission carries a Canadian satellite.
