Russia accuses Turkey of having financial interests with ISIS
Although the president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, says he has no intention of increasing tension with Russia, the Kremlin said that relations between both countries have suffered «damage difficult to repair.» Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev added that Turkey has shown that it defends ISIS terrorists and threatened to cancel contracts with Turkish companies in the Russian market. Both countries have a high interdependence with respect to energy. Turkey imports over 90% of its oil and natural gas and depends on imports from Russia, especially for the latter. On Tuesday, oil prices rose over 3%.
