Crunchy toasts can cause cancer

According to the Food Standards Agency dark brown toasts can give cancer. The study assures that they contain high levels of acrylamide, a toxin that causes cancer and is also found in fried products.

Homemade and pre-cooked potato chips, bagged snacks and coffee are also on the lists of scientists. Acrylamide forms in foods during the cooking process in temperatures above 120ºC.
