NASA is not ready for dangers of 'deep space'

Astronauts have a higher risk of developing cancer and other diseases due to their high exposure to radiation. According to a report, NASA is not ready yet to face these dangers.

NASA Inspector General, Paul K. Martin, says the space agency «faces significant challenges» to ensure the safety of astronauts heading to Mars, a mission that will take place in the 2030s.
