Pope Francis: “Using violence in the name of God is blasphemy”
Pope Francis, who prayed for the victims, asked for thoughts of wisdom and peace to be born in the hearts of all. “The problem isn’t when the promontory signs of the end of times will appear, rather to be prepared for the encounter.”
“To use the name of God to justify this path is blasphemy!” exclaimed the Pope during the Angelus in St. Peters. In the day’s Gospel he reminded of the apocalyptic signs and warned about “fatalists” and “false prophets.”
