Malaysian baby panda shown for the first time
The Malaysian Prime Minister announced its birth on Facebook. He wrote, “Happy to know that Liang Liang, one of the National Zoo’s pandas, safely gave birth to a panda.” Last year in May, China lent Malaysia two giant pandas, a male and a female. The species is in danger of extinction due to the destruction of its habitat, but under human care its procreation is also difficult.
The three-month old panda bear has been presented to the public. It was born in the Kuala Lumpur National Zoo in Malaysia.
