‘Anthrax alert’ protocol declared in the Great Mosque of Brussels

While searches continue across the country, the Great Mosque of Brussels, ran by Saudi Arabia, received envelopes with white powder. An ‘anthrax alert’ was declared, which includes the evacuation and decontamination of the eleven people who touched the envelopes.

The firefighter services spokesman says «the affected» have no symptoms and the first analyses have ruled out radioactive material. Bomb disposal experts also analyzed the substances, along with researchers in biological threats.
