China back to normal after extreme cold
Authorities had warned the extreme cold would force to cancel flights, trains, and cut several roads in different provinces. China has deployed 2,500 workers with 430 tons of chemical product to reopen roads, but the highway between Beijing and Shandong is still closed.
After a long weekend of snow and ice, communications are slowly returning to normal. The extreme cold has frozen the water in hundreds of locations, even forming ‘ice railings’ by the sea.
