Italian priest shot to death while riding his bicycle in Bangladesh
The priest was headed to work when he received several shots, one to the head that fatally wounded him. Piero, 60 years old, had been working as a doctor in a Catholic mission in Dinajpur for quite some time. He had been living and working in the Suhiari parish in Bangladesh for several years. During the last couple of months, two attacks have been produced against Italians and three against other foreigners.

The priest, identified as Father Piero, was riding his bicycle through the town of Dinajpur when armed men on a motorcycle shot him several times. The police have attributed the attacks to Islamists.
