Nine terrorists responsible for the Beirut attack have been arrested

The Lebanese police have arrested nine members of the cell responsible for the Thursday attack in South Beirut that killed 43 and injured 239.

Among the detained seven are of Syrian nationality and two are Lebanese. Islamic State, of Sunni confession, fights against Hezbollah militants in Syria, allies of president Bashar Al Assad’s government.
